The India TA team was facing long hiring cycles, with key roles taking around 90 days to fill. Internal bandwidth was stretched across high demand technical skillsets, creating bottlenecks for both active and upcoming vacancies. Senior roles were particularly affected, with coverage disrupted by recurring pipeline demands that prevented the team from staying ahead of future needs.
O B J E C T I V E
To increase hiring capacity across senior and mid level Data Science, Application Development, and Data Engineering roles by shifting responsibility to the rec hub team. This ensured consistent delivery, reduced pressure on the internal TA function, and created space for the team to focus on wider strategic priorities.

We deployed a dedicated team of 17 Talent Partners and Senior Talent Partners, supported by a Delivery Lead, all with deep experience in technical hiring. Working as an extension of Thoughtworks India's TA function, the team took ownership of Pan India hiring across senior and mid level roles, strengthening coverage, accelerating delivery, and easing pressure on the internal team.
