The embedded recruitment model. What it is, who it's for, and how it works.
Every hiring conversation starts with one question: are you buying recruiters, or are you buying outcomes? If it's recruiters, this is for you.
What it is
Embedded places a recruiter inside your team from day one, working your ATS, your brand, and your process. Your hiring plan doesn't stall while a headcount request works its way through approval.
You keep ownership of the strategy and the outcome. We provide the person doing the work. Engagement scales up or down with demand, so there's no retainer sitting on the P&L between hiring cycles and no fixed team when the plan changes.
Who it's for
Embedded suits a mature TA function that already knows how to hire well. What's missing is enough hands to deliver against a plan that's grown faster than the team can safely own. Three roles tend to bring us in, each for a different reason.
- Head of Talent. The team is at capacity and the hiring plan just grew. A permanent headcount request takes months and might get rejected. Embedded adds firepower without that overhead.
- CRO. The GTM team needs to grow fast and hire quality is inconsistent. A recruiter who understands the market and comp benchmarks catches a bad revenue hire before it costs six months of ramp.
- CTO. Technical hiring is a bottleneck, not an enabler. A recruiter who can hold a technical conversation and pre-qualify properly stops engineers losing time to CVs that don't belong in the room.
How it works
The recruiter learns your job specs, your ATS, and your tone of voice before opening a single role, so brand consistency is built in rather than assumed. From there, they work inside your process as an extension of the team, not a supplier sitting alongside it.
We track time-to-decision, time-to-list, and time-to-hire throughout. When the hiring plan slows, so does the commitment. When it picks up again, so do we.
"What would it mean to have a talent partner you didn't have to manage, one that just got on with it and told you when something needed your attention?" The question we ask every Embedded client
Embedded or RPO
Embedded is the right fit when a business is buying recruiters. If a business is buying delivery accountability instead, that's RPO territory, Lite, Project, or Full, depending on how much ownership sits with us versus the client.
On Embedded, you direct every step and we supply the capacity. On RPO, we take on increasing levels of ownership over the result itself. Neither is a lesser version of the other. They're built for different problems.
